Built on Structure, Not Speculation

We built Dyad Quotient because most relationship tools prioritize comfort over accuracy. We prioritize accuracy — and believe that clarity is more compassionate than reassurance.

Why We Built This

Most relationship assessments either reduce people to zodiac-style archetypes or bury actionable insight under clinical jargon. Neither is useful when you're mid-conflict and need to understand what's actually happening.

Dyad Quotient was designed to give individuals — not just clinicians — access to the structural patterns underlying their relationships. The assessment measures the constructs that longitudinal research consistently links to relationship outcomes: attachment security, emotional reactivity, stress spillover, and personality. Not opinion. Not vibes. Measurement.

The output is a Dyad Pattern: a structural profile that describes how your nervous system is calibrated for intimacy, how you respond under stress, and how those patterns interact with a partner's.

What We Measure

The assessment draws on validated psychometric constructs with established predictive validity in relationship science. Each dimension is scored against population norms — not compared to your partner, not interpreted against pop psychology categories.

Results are combined into one of six Dyad Patterns — structural profiles that describe your relational operating system, not a fixed identity.

Our Design Principles

Empirical

Every construct is grounded in peer-reviewed research with demonstrated predictive validity. No intuition-based scales.

Non-Diagnostic

Dyad Quotient provides educational insights, not clinical assessments. It is not a substitute for professional mental health guidance.

Pattern-Based

Patterns are descriptive and malleable. Your profile reflects current calibration, not permanent character.

Structurally Honest

We report friction points and mismatches directly. Useful insight requires accurate framing, not flattery.

The Six Dyad Patterns

Your Dyad Pattern is determined by your scores across attachment, personality, and stress dimensions. Each pattern has a distinct relational architecture — a characteristic way of seeking connection, managing conflict, and processing stress within an intimate relationship.

No pattern is inherently superior. The six patterns differ in their friction profiles and growth edges — both individually and in combination with a partner's pattern.
